About me

When exploring the profiles what draws you to a counsellor? Generally speaking, people find me warm and friendly and open up whether they are clients or a stranger at a bus stop! If you want a counsellor that you find easy to trust who focuses on women clients, then book me. If you are a person of faith and want a counsellor with a faith background choose me.

Trained in the early 2000's, with both counselling and coaching qualifications I am potentially a good fit if you are committed to change.

I am a women’s empowerment counsellor. I am your counsellor if you want to find and connect with your authentic self after events have shaken your confidence in you. I love to help clients find the gold within themselves and help them to find the gold they have to offer to the world. I have experience dealing with self-esteem, boundaries, self-care for carers, clients with additional learning needs, anxiety, depression and other concerns.

Therapy involves team work between therapist and client. I have an extensive tool bag and we take responsibility together for making the therapy effective. I ask clients what they want from counselling and we work together towards their goals. I do not work with every client. I work with clients who are committed to their own development and those whom I believe I am a good fit.

In terms of approach, my approach in underpinned by person-centred counselling which means that you are the centre of the counselling. You are the focus and I believe in you. I offer a mix of person-centred counselling, solution-focused counselling and am influenced by the cognitive-behavioural approach. I believe that our thinking affects our actions so better thoughts lead to a better life.

Looking forward to connecting with you if you feel I am a good match.

Christine is an amazing therapist and person, she genuinely cares about her patients, and with kind words she can help during hard moments in life

Written on Apr 02, 2026 after therapy with Christine for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, intimacy-related issues, eating disorders, parenting issues, self esteem, and coping with life changes

I’ve found the counselling sessions really helpful. My counsellor listens carefully and makes me feel understood, which helps me open up about things I might otherwise keep to myself. Rather than telling me what to do, they guide the conversation in a way that helps me reflect and come up with my own solutions.

I feel supported and never judged, and the sessions have helped me think more clearly about situations and how to manage them. It’s been a positive experience and I appreciate the understanding and space to talk things through.
