About me

I am a Vermont and Maine licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working as a therapist, supervisor and program manager in community mental health and outpatient settings. I have worked with individuals, children and families with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, self-esteem issues, OCD and ADHD. I have also helped many individuals and teens who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive, balancing humor and tasks in a way to create a safe space for you to explore, heal and grow. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines client-centered, solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches, which essentially means that my focus is on you as an individual and I will adjust my treatment methods and plan in order to meet your unique and specific needs. Our sessions are for you and I want to make sure that you are able to get the most out of them that you can by learning and partnering with you on your journey to wellness.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change by reaching out for help. I know that is not always easy to do. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Christine has been a calming, comfortable, friendly and easy to communicate with Therapist. Personally, I bottle a lot of my emotions up and have struggled with anxiety and depression to a point that I regret. Christine has really helped me address my stress and anxiety and understand how to communicate with my family and spouse, and also realize what is situational stress and what is actually valid stress. I honestly can’t thank or praise her enough. She is great at messaging me after our video session to remind me and highlight on what we discussed. Which in turn really helps, I can reference back to her advice and techniques to help throughout the daily struggle. I have often gone back weeks and months to reread what she has told me, to help ground me and understand that I am overthinking situations or devaluing myself. I truly and honestly am a stronger, more confident, healthy, understanding and less anxious person and husband because of her.
