About Me

Hi, I'm Cindy and I am a dually licensed, Independent Clinical Social Worker and Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Ohio. . (LISW-S, LICDC). I have been working with and supporting adults, teens, and couples for over 10 years.
I am committed to helping people learn how to live their BEST LIVES! My practice focuses on targeting ANYTHING that stands in your way of functioning as your BEST self. I believe in taking a holistic and collaborative approach. This means we work together, as a team to improve your whole life-not just your mental or emotional health.

I am a seeker, so I am ALWAYS looking for new ways through research, evidence-based practices, and new educational opportunities to be of service to those looking for support.
The face of someone who looks for support... looks like mine. Sometimes it's struggling with anxiety or depression. Or maybe diabetes and the toll the management of the disease takes on your life. It could also look like a teen looking for direction at school or navigating the world into young adulthood. Or a couple on the brink of calling it quits because of financial stress. It could look like someone who has lost their job or home and turned to Alcohol or something else to ease the pain. Or someone who just can't shake things they may or may not label as TRAUMA in their lives. More important than any of these situations, is the question: HOW DO WE REGAIN CONTROL OVER OUR HAPPINESS AND OUR LIVES? This is precisely what our goal is- find a plan to answer this question.
There are multiple ways we can go about finding this answer, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychoanalytic therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness-based modalities, Motivational Interviewing and, more. If you are interested in discovering which method will be effective for us to use, please schedule an appointment and we will get started laying the path together!

Cindy has been very helpful since the beginning. She offers me resources for help in dealing with my problems, and she listens. Would recommend to others.

Cindy is the most warm hearted, caring and genuinely wonderful therapist I've ever met. She's helped me through so much and u always feel like I can speak her about anything without judgment. Most importantly, she's always honest with me and checks up on me whenever I'm down and I appreciate her so much. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. She's such an amazing person and I love her!

Cindy is a wonderful person. She is very supportive of your mental health growth and what you want to achieve personally. She is a very good listener and asks you thoughtful questions. Without a listening ear like hers I don't think I would have felt the personal growth I have made.

Cindy helps me boil down a lot of very complex circumstances very quickly. I don’t know how she does that with such ease, but it is helping me understand what I’ve been dealing with and also face life with less fear.

She is excellent. She doesn't beat around the bush. Asks excellent questions that actually have something to do with my problem or management thereof. My time is definitely not wasted nor is it unproductive.
