Claire Ashcraft, LCSW
About me
Hi, I’m Claire Ashcraft, a therapist based Tennessee. I believe that therapy is a deeply personal journey—and it’s an honor to walk alongside you as you navigate the complex, messy, and meaningful parts of life. Whether you’re struggling with grief, anxiety, identity, or loss, I provide a warm, compassionate space where you can process your experiences without judgment.
My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I use mindfulness practices like deep breathing and guided imagery to help clients regulate their emotions, reconnect with their bodies, and build resilience. I often incorporate expressive writing, talk therapy, and honest conversation to help release pain and uncover strength. My work is grounded in empathy, directness, and a belief that progress comes through real connection.
As an adoptee, I bring personal insight into questions of identity, belonging, and complex family dynamics. I especially love working with children and teens, whose openness and curiosity create rich opportunities for growth and healing.
Clients describe me as warm, genuine, and grounded—I meet you where you are with honesty and care, calling out unhelpful patterns while creating space for self-compassion and change. Whether you’re feeling stuck in grief, overwhelmed by anxiety, or just unsure where to begin, you don’t have to do this alone.
If you’re ready to be truly seen and supported, I’d be honored to be part of your healing journey. Reach out today to schedule your first session.
