About me

I have a Masters and Bachelors in Social Work and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. My experience over the past 20 years has been in a variety of mental health settings. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as several other modalities. I have worked with individuals with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar and many other issues.
Therapy can be intimidating and opening up to stranger can be difficult, which is why I feel that building trust from the beginning is important. I will take the time to listen, and treat you with respect while at the same time challenge you to help you achieve your goals. I really enjoy helping people and I hope I can help you.

The longest I’ve stayed with a therapist bc she really gets me

Written on Feb 03, 2023 after therapy with Claire for 1 year and 8 months on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, eating disorders, sleeping disorders, self esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, and adhd

Claire has been incredibly attentive to my mental health needs. She helped me get through a very difficult transition in my life and continues to challenge me to build skills to help me appraise my own beliefs and build positive relationships. I’d recommend her to work with my own family and friends.

Claire is great and wonderful. She is an expert to her profession. She has helped me a lot with what I have been dealing especially my difficult emotions. She gave me helpful information that I can use and practice. I am so thankful her, I have been applying what she has taught me to my family and I seen them worked wonderfully and hopefully I can continue to follow through even when I am done with therapy. Thanks to her guidance and help, I feel like I am better as a person and a mother.
