About me

Welcome,
Trauma-informed psychotherapist for abuse, anxiety, eating struggles, and relationship wounds, narcissistic abuse. I hold specialist training in Rape and Sexual Violence Awareness, Trauma Recovery and Narcissistic Abuse Healing. Alongside this I offer compassionate support for emotional eating, body image concerns, and food-related anxiety. I hold a Transformational Nutrition Diploma and help clients to explore the emotional and nervous-system roots to their realtionship with food.

Are you exhausted from holding everything together, while inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unseen? Many of my clients come to me after years of managing stress alone, only to find themselves stuck in patterns that drain their energy — whether that’s people-pleasing, emotional eating, or struggling to recover from difficult relationships.

I am a trauma-informed counsellor and psychotherapist who specialises in working with adults navigating:
• Anxiety and stress that feel unmanageable
• Low self-esteem and “not good enough” beliefs
• Narcissistic or emotionally harmful relationship wounds
• Disordered eating or emotional coping patterns
. Trauma Informed Therapist, Rape and Sexual Violence neuro/emotional loops and nervous system regulation.
What sets my approach apart is the way I integrate evidence-based therapies (CBT, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis) with nervous system regulation techniques. This means we don’t just talk about what’s wrong — we work directly with both mind and body to create lasting change. My clients often tell me they feel safe for the first time, understood in a way they’ve never been before, and able to make changes they didn’t think were possible.

If you’re looking for a counsellor who will listen deeply, challenge gently, and equip you with tools to feel calmer, stronger, and more in charge of your life, I would be honoured to support you. This is your space to untangle the past, reclaim your confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and self-belief.

I will meet you where you're currently struggling

Clare is supportive, understanding, calm and gentle in her approach. I feel safe working with her, which I have never experienced in therapy before and I have tried many times in the past.

I feel that slowly I am moving further forward with my recovery with the work we have been doing together. Clare believes and validates me, she also helps me look at things differently and I am so thankful to have her as my therapist.

I cannot recommend her enough.

Clare is honestly the best therapist I’ve ever had. She’s so easy to talk to and has a really calm, understanding, and compassionate way about her so I feel completely comfortable and at ease in our sessions. I’ve learned so much about myself through our sessions, and I always leave feeling lighter and more grounded. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Clare!
