My name is Cody Hedrick, I have been a therapist for 6 years and worked in other therapeutic rolls since 2011. For the last 6 years I have been working with Families and Children with Reactive Attachment Disorder. I have also provided therapy to individual adults over the last 9.5 years and worked with CYFD in order to help teach parenting skills, and resolved struggles in adulthood. I have worked with a wide variety of life struggles including LGBTQ+, self-esteem, self-love, anxiety, depression, suicide, long term/declining health struggles, Chronic Illness, Cancer, and attachment issues. I have a background in existential therapy, attachment therapy, strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, as well as some Narrative Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness, meditation, improved techniques for self-care and other holistic methods. This can provide a sense of internalized strength and improve one's ability to gain resilience to different emotional states. This can result in ones ability to feel more in control and reduce emotional distress while dealing with any of these problems. I also help guide clients to their own personal goals and solutions in order to create sustainable and lasting change.

Cody is genuinely dope as hell. I've gone through a lot of therapists trying to find someone who was not only a good fit for my needs, but also for my personality, and he's far exceeded expectations in both categories. He's caring and understanding but nowhere near a pushover and has no problem calling me out when need be. He's helped me truly accept a lot of what's going on in my life as out of my control while helping me also keep control of my responses to those things. 20/10 great guy

I’ve only had one session with Cody. But first impressions mean a lot, and Cody made a great first impression with me. He was very respectful and informative. I felt comfortable in our session, there was no pressure to share yet he gave me every opportunity to do so. Great first experience with Cody…

Cody is an amazing therapist! I have needed this type of therapy for so long but instead of being overwhelmed by the time I’ve missed Cody has made everything feel so light and manageable. I came to better help and more importantly to Cody at a time in my life where my anxiety had become so out of control it was manifesting into panic attacks. Cody has given me tools that I use daily multiple times a day that actually work to ease my anxiety and for the first time in my life I feel like I’m in control of my emotions. He’s so knowledgeable on what I struggle with and listens and simply has made the whole therapy process a really positive experience. I still can’t believe that I was matched so perfectly to my therapist the first time and I am so thankful for learning more deeply about myself, who I am, my emotions and the things I need to work on. I’m also beyond relieved to know that better help and hopefully Cody, will always be there for me. I am no longer afraid to reach out and ask for help nor am I ashamed of it. I am proud, I share my experience with everyone and have even gotten two more people to start therapy as well! Thank you Cody for helping me to have more self compassion, understanding that nothing is wrong with me or missing and that it is my power of intention and positivity that drives my life.
