About me

I am licensed in North Carolina with 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & depression.

My approach is person-centered and often employs facets of existential theory, most notably self-awareness. Daily, we have limitless news about the world and specifics about what strangers are (posting about) eating for lunch. It’s easy to lose oneself in the whole equation of being alive. My therapeutic approach is to come back to your core self and build on that amazing human being sitting across from me.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Colleen Lennon. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Colleen helped me when I was stuck in my own unhelpful thoughts and needed an outside perspective and help hyping myself up. She was thoughtful, easy to talk to, and a great listener. She had some great practical ideas I could use right away!

Colleen is a creator of a safe space that allows one to truly think about the past, present, and future. Which is something I'm truly grateful for
