About me

Coping with the effects of a traumatic experience is like battling through a stream of thick mud, making you feel helpless and unsafe. On the outside you may appear fine, but on the inside, there is something dark and sad sitting just below the surface. The irritability, lack of connection to others and yourself, disinterest in the things you used to enjoy, and difficulty sleeping is enough to make you feel like there’s no end in sight. Perhaps you’ve turned to substances or other behaviors as a way to cope since nothing else seems to work. Seeking help is scary but with the right connection miracles can happen.
Imagine what it would be like to feel more connected to your own thoughts and feelings – and to those you love. Peeling away the layers of pain and exposing your true self is an effective way to ignite growth. This mind, body and spirit approach is the way to rekindle your joy and find your way back to yourself. What we expose will no longer hold power.
I am committed to helping you cause a shift, and therefore a transformation in your life. I have worked with individuals with a variety of backgrounds, and have seen first hand transformation happen. Change is easier when you are supported, heard, and understood.

Working with Colleen helped me push myself to uncover and address the feelings and emotions I had limited myself to understanding. Colleen is honest and direct which I immensely appreciated. She will allow you to sit with your emotions in the moment and has the patience to work through them with you. I am so incredibly thankful for my time spent working with Colleen.

Colleen knows what she is doing. She gives you the truth you might not want to hear but need to in a very safe and therapeutic manner. I am honored to work with her. I feel safe working with her.

Colleen gave me some tough love where I needed it and helped me through a painful grief process I had pushed down for a few years. She didn't let me talk endlessly, retraumatizing myself but instead had me pause during particularly painful memories and sit with them. She's awesome!
