Coretta Eskridge, LPC

I've been in therapy with Coretta Eskridge for over a year now and I love fact that I can speak my piece and not receive judgement. As I continue to unpack the issues I'm facing I know that I 'll receive excellent professional advice from her. I would gladly refer her to anyone who is seeking counseling and have great confidence that even if she's not a fit, she would know who you should seek out.

Coretta is understanding, listens, and asks the right questions to help you get to the bottom of why we are doing the things we are doing, and practical ways to help stop doing those things if you so choose.

Meeting Coretta changed my life. I don’t know what I would do without her. Talking with Coretta is as easy as talking to my loved ones or family. She knows and remembers what is going on with my life and me. When I disappear because my anxiety and depression gets the best of me she always checks up on me. I know that she genuinely cares about me. I’m forever grateful that we got connected. In the past finding a therapist I connected with and actually helped me was so hard, but we connected and it was just the perfect fit.

Coretta is incredible. She listens so well, I feel heard when I speak to her. She never makes me feel ridiculous for any of my feelings! She gives great advice, she forces to you look at yourself in such a gentle way. She is soft spoken and very knowledgeable!

Coretta makes you feel truly heard. I think she’s one of the few therapists who’ve actually just talked to me like a human being instead of a project or a problem that needs to be solved. She’s a real help and always so supportive and listens intently. I’m gonna miss our sessions.

Coretta is the therapist you didn't know you needed. She always listens and keeps the entire session focused on your mental health. Coretta never let's me forget about myself and always encourage me to do the work. I love working with Coretta, and she has been instrumental on my new mental health journey. Whether a good day or a bad day, I can hear Coretta's voice in my head telling me that I have to save myself, or I have to do the work. I then push forward with confidence making choices to save myself, and I come out winning every time. I am so grateful for Coretta and would highly recommend sessions with her.

We are still pretty new into our interactions however Coretta has already provided me many tools, has really listened and even provided follow up questions sessions later. I plan on staying with her for quite a while.
