About Me

Welcome to my profile! You have taken a huge first step in reaching out for help, and I'm honored you are considering me to accompany you on this part of your life journey! A little about me - I live in Houston, Texas and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I knew almost my whole life that I wanted to be a counselor, because I knew I wanted to help people in a very direct and personal way. I have experience working in non-profits, addiction groups, private practice, and university settings.

In my practice, I approach every individual with warmth, compassion, and empathy. I tailor my approach to each individual, because every single person is unique and there is not a one-size-fits-all approach in counseling. I enjoy getting to know each of my clients and building strong therapeutic relationships with them. Humans are wired for connection, and connecting with your therapist (me) is the most important part of us working collaboratively together in this therapeutic space.

My goal is to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be!

Warmest Regards,

Corey

Corey has been wonderful for me. While not going through anything major right now, she is a thoughtful, objective point of view I desire to evaluate certain situations in my life.

Corey has shown the utmost professionalism and also skills to help me during low times in my life. She makes me feel understood and takes her time to truly understand the situation and truly applied ways to help me with what I was going through that fits me.

She is awesome. She’s very gentle in bringing to light things that may be happening mentally that we struggle to face or deal with. She’s very helpful and truly listens.

I really enjoy being able to talk to her about my issues. It’s extremely hard for me to open up to people and talk about my thoughts and things I am dealing with. Corey really makes it easy for me to talk to her. She feels like she really cares and wants to help me!
