Courtney has been great so far. This is my first time doing therapy and she has made it a comfortable place.

So far she’s been absolutely fantastic!

I am very thankful for Courtney for one reason she is very knowledgeable about trauma and chronic stress and that was helpful because on the very first meeting after reading my journal notes she was able to locate where I am in my healing journey without spending a lot of time filling her in. She seems very intuitive along with being knowledgeable.

I initially had reservation after reading Courtney's bio because she seemed young and less than ten years experience but I feel like she has immersed herself in studying her craft and that made me feel very safe. I have researched my journey for 20 years and read about 150 books on trauma and chronic pain and consider myself pretty informed and get frustrated with therapist who only know talk therapy. Talking to Courtney the first time was like talking to someone I have known for a long time. Although she is young, talking to Courtney I felt safe because I picked up that she was really curious about what happened to me and that she really cared about me as a person. That is a huge plus.

Lastly, I appreciate Courtney making me feel safe about letting her know if any of her suggestions don't fit for me as an African American Female and acknowledging that race and gender does impact an individual's level of privilege. That totally made me know that I found the perfect therapist for me right now.
