About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Oregon. I have over 15 years experience with survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual abuse, abuse and neglect in family of origin, and attachment trauma. I have also worked extensively with hundreds of individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders.
Our therapist-client relationship is one that relies on our shared wisdom. You are the expert in the subject area of you, while I bring therapeutic resources and my own lived experience. My clinical approach includes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), relational-cultural theory, and client-centered therapy. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space for exploration, expression, curiosity, creativity and healing.
I look forward to working with you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Crystal Bartlett. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience so far with Crystal. She has listened, non-judgmentally, and offered me so many insights and helped me so much in such a short time. Thank you.
Cyrstal has been very helpful to me
She's a mom and a best friend all in one.
Crystal has helped me greatly in a sometimes (and welcomed) challenging but always thoughtful manner. She listens and seems to understand where I'm at and gives me good advice on how to look at things.
Love her.
From the first online visit I felt like Crystal was really knowledgeable in the way she approaches trauma and other life events. It made me feel comfortable talking about anything I needed to and each visit I get helpful strategies to use in my daily life when needed.
I really can’t say enough positive things about Crystal. She helped me clarify what I needed and helped me take baby steps to get there. She is supportive, honest, kind and has a realness that makes her instantly relatable. I often felt like I was talking to a wise mentor/friend instead of a traditional therapist. I’m only leaving her because I’m moving out of state, but otherwise I’d most definitely keep seeing her!
She has been so helpful
Crystal has been such a blessing. My mental health has always been on the bottom of my priority list but now I make sure it's at the top. She has helped me through an incredible amount that I wouldn't have been able to get through without her guidance.
Crystal is very easy to talk to, making difficult discussions as comfortable as possible. I appreciate her quick responses, as well as being spoken to in clinical terms when appropriate as well as lay terms when applicable. It makes me feel like I'm being heard to be able to discuss from a view point to gain general understanding as well more personal viewpoints.
Crystal is really honest. She allows me to reflect on myself, but also steers me in the direction to be honest with my own reality and if I'm being fair to myself and others. She supplies me with consistency, and things to help in the long term so I can start to manage my own obstacles.
Crystal is always willing to walk with me through whichever choices I make for myself. I am quite satisfied with the services she has provided.
Crystal has been wonderful to work with. Her energy and level of expertise makes working with her very comfortable. It feels like she understands you so well that it helps you understand yourself. Sometimes I don’t feel like showing up to my video sessions but every time I’m so glad I did!
Crystal is the first therapist I have felt connected to, and I’ve been in therapy for the last 3 years. She is down-to-earth, knowledgeable (especially in self-care, boundaries and addiction related issues). She celebrates you while also allowing space for when things just suck. I’m so thankful to have met her through betterhelp!
