About Me
Hello! My name is Crystal and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota. I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2006 and I have about 14 years of counseling experience under my belt. In those years, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples and families in both residential and outpatient settings. Most of the people I have worked with have been those that have experienced significant trauma; however, I have also been able to work with those experiencing daily life stressors.
I have been told by many that I am easy to talk to and that is my main goal. I wish to offer an unbiased, non-judgmental, validating, and caring experience to those who are seeking help. Taking the first step to engage in therapy is difficult enough and it is my hope to offer comfort and reassurance during the process.
The approaches that I tend to gravitate towards are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Client Centered, and Solution Focused. I believe with a mixture of these modalities most people can find their way through their tough times and get to a point where they feel more comfortable with life.
I definitely look forward to going on the journey with you to get to a better place with life and yourself.

Crystal has been an invaluable third-party listener to my life over the past few months. I’ve been able to count on her to give me an outside perspective that is both impartial but supportive. She also showed me how I respond well to having a task to do when things are feeling overwhelming for me, and she’s provided great worksheets and techniques for getting a handle on my anxious thoughts. I was in a rough emotional spiral during the pandemic due to interruptions to some mediocre coping techniques I was doing on my own. Crystal helped me take a step back, re-evaluate my feelings and stresses, and build better strategies for self-care to get me through this time, future stressful periods, and everyday triggers.
Crystal is wonderful and I look forward to continuing to work with her.
Crystal is extremely easy to talk to, I felt comfortable sharing with her immediately. She had great, practical, and implementable suggestions that have really helped me.
Crystal is great so far. We’ve only had two sessions, so I don’t think the questions about trust and expertise are applicable yet! Also, I really prefer morning appointments, and she doesn’t have any. Can that be changed?
Crystal has shown a lot of compassion and a willingness to provide many solutions and not just one thing. I've been to a variety of counselors in my life and she is right up there for being so responsive and caring.
Crystal is great! She is very knowledgeable and really listens to my concerns. I would highly recommend her as a counselor.
I love her ! She’s already helping me so much .
So far Crystal has been amazing. She completely gets me and give me great advice. She allows me to talk as much and fast as I want (cause I sure do a lot of those lol) and I def like her.
Crystal has been so responsive and so great! Sometimes I feel like my “need” for counseling isn’t that high but she has been so validating and reassuring!
Crystal has been a fantastic therapist! Very open, respectful and kind. Couldn't recommend highly enough
