I have worked with people all of my working life. As a therapist I have worked all populations, mandated clients inmates, both male and females, even adolescent aged juvenile delinquent. I have worked in prisons max levels to mediums. I have worked in residential care for juveniles to outpatient care for children. I recently have retired from the State of New York putting 30 plus years behind to work on-call as a psychiatric on call evaluator in the emergency room, and a therapist for a local family medical center seeing nearby college adults and community folks.
I have worked with many people with a wide range of concerns and struggles, from Mental Health issues like Bipolar disorder, to PTSD and Trauma issues, Coping Anxiety issues, Attachment and Abandonment problems, ADHD, Loss, Grief, Schizophrenia, Abuse, Self-Injury, Self-Esteem, Parenting, Relationships, Anger, Personality Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, OCD and Depression.
I do not care for labels, and I do believe in treating everyone as they treat me with respect and professionalism and compassion. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach and tailor your Treatment need that is unique to each client. I use an emotional Support Pet named Major ( as long as everyone is not Allergic-Lol! ha ha it's virtual) I use humor lots! It makes seeing a therapist fun.

This is only my second season with Cynthia, and our sessions have helped me immensely. Cynthia is wonderful at listening, providing advice and different tools to help cope with what I’ve been struggling with. I feel seen, safe and heard by Cynthia from both sessions, and I look forward to more future sessions. I highly recommend her for those who are looking for a safe place to start healing.

Cynthia put me at ease within 5 minutes of our first conversation. I was hesitant to try online therapy because I was concerned about not feeling a connection to my therapist, but I’m pleased to say that has not been my experience at all. Cynthia helps me feel heard, understood, and most of all, human. A very positive experience thus far.

I've only had 1 session with Cynthia, but I already rescheduled a 2nd session with her. She gets straight to the point and already has helped me grow. I guess I got lucky matching with her for my first therapist.

I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes of talking to someone whether or not we get along, and I am happy to say Cynthia and I vibed right off the bat. I have only had one session with Cynthia so far, but I am already super stoked to continue working with her. Her communication style is very direct, as is mine, which helps reduce my anxiety during sessions as I never feel like she is just telling me what I want to hear. Additionally, she was great at slowing me down a bit and re-directing me back to the topic at hand, which is awesome if you have crazy ADHD like I do.
If you’ve been put off by past therapists who seem disingenuous, or felt like you weren’t actually being heard, then Cynthia is the lady for you. You’ll never feel like your being overanalyzed or judged, which once again is really helpful for those with Social Anxiety. She is straight up, supportive, and sincere.
Thanks Cynthia!

Cynthia was instrumental in helping me overcome issues with my anxiety. She creates a calm environment and understood how to best assist me in helping myself overcome issues I was having with anxiety and depression. I would highly recommend to anyone going through similar issues and would also be happy to work with her again if I felt I needed to.
