About me

I am a licensed mental health practitioner with over 30 years of experience counseling in various settings such as low-income communities and in a university counseling center. I have taught psychology at various university and am currently an adjunct professor of psychology. I train post-graduate students in aspects of psychology that they will need to know to pass their board exams in medicine and dentistry. I hold a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. I love to travel, interact with people from various cultural perspectives to understand them and hone my understanding of myself in relation to others.

I come from a very eclectic family background via racial, religious, educational, social, judicial, political and sexual orientations. This being said, I am thus eclectic in my approach to counseling. I welcome clients where they are at and strive to explore where they are willing to go mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually to feel better and to achieve their dreams. Also, I have to add, I adore the outdoors and have been a proponent of the environment since I was a child. I still love to play in the rain.

I have been working with Cynthia for a couple weeks now. She has been great to talk with. She listens and gives me feedback that I may or may not want to hear.
