I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and an Air Force veteran. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, Panama City Campus in 2016. I have a total of 4 years counseling experience. I have worked in a private practice and clinic setting helping individuals and families with issues related to depression, anxiety, life changes, PTSD, anger management, and improving relationships.
My availability for one-on-one live sessions are typically later afternoon/evenings and weekends.
My counseling style is a combination of warm and empathetic, along with tactful honesty and accountability. I believe in mutual respect and compassion. I encourage my clients to be honest with me and if something is not working, to speak up and tell me. I believe in allowing my clients to take ownership of their therapy and gain skills in advocating for themselves and their loved ones. I also believe in understanding the human condition of imperfection and we all make mistakes. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psycho-education, mindfulness, and humanistic treatment approaches. I understand that sometimes all a person needs is an attentive ear, but also quick and useful solutions to problematic symptoms or issues. I will create a balance within my counseling style based on your particular needs and preferences. I also enjoy adding an element of humor in my treatment when it is appropriate.
It takes a great amount of courage to ask for help. I look forward to helping you through your journey and learning more about yourself. My goal is to help empower you to improve what is working well for you and give you the tools to help change what is not working for you.
I look forward to starting this new journey with you!

Having once had only second thoughts about online counseling I can honestly say that I am truly enjoying the immediacy that this concept of counseling achieves and deliveries. After the monotony of years of traditional counseling and having to wait for that one time a week to express a weeklong surge of emotions I find comfort in this method that allows me every day and several times throughout the day to just simply express whatever it may be that is quite possibly nagging at me or causing consternation. I’m pretty certain that I wont be returning to a traditional method of counseling anytime soon.
Dallassa is the 2nd counselor I've had (of 4) that I really connect with, and I truly feel understands what I go through. She's really easy to talk to, because for me, she's quite relatable.
Dallassa is really easy to talk to. I felt like right away I could open up to her and I felt safe. I would highly recommend her.
She is wonderful.
Only had a few sessions so far but I’m already really liking it. This is the first time I’ve ever had any sort of counseling and Dallassa has been awesome. Really looking forward to our next session.
Dallassa is a patient and attentive person. She has listened to me complain about things and helped me unravel some of the confusion that I had created for myself. She has been responsive to every message that I have sent and always has some insight to share. I am glad that she is my counselor.
Dallassa is absolutely wonderful! We come from completely different backgrounds but she’s still able to relate to me and is very kind and empathetic to my issues. Her feedback is practical and helpful (even her constructive criticism is delivered so politely/nicely). She radiates positivity and even on tough days her positive outlook is infectious.
Dallassa has been a great cheerleader.
Super awesome and relatable! She totally understands what you’re going through.
