About me

Hello. Thank you for viewing my profile. I am glad you stopped by! I am originally from New York but landed permanently in Pennsylvania. All of my schooling and experience has been in Pennsylvania. I have been providing mental health support to people for over 20 years in many different healthcare settings and in many different capacities, but my favorite is providing individual counseling. Most recently I hold an executive position supervising and overseeing clinical services in a large mental health organization. This position has given me perspective of different counseling techniques and has allowed me to see what exceptional therapy is versus mediocre. I have been working hard individually to continue to enhance my skills and I want to be the best for you! I deeply love what I do and I want to be part of the change you desire.

Life is hard. We all know what it feels like to be sad or mad or scared; sometimes depressed or anxious, or sometimes just confused and lost. It's all just part of being human and living in our world today. But sometimes when life gets hard we make it harder than it needs to be with self-blame and judgement so that it begins to feel unbearable or out of control. My job is to help you to look at yourself with acceptance, compassion and understanding so that life's difficulties can be dealt with in perspective.

Using a caring, holistic, and insightful approach, I help clients have a better understanding of their emotions and experiences, which enables them to make better life choices. I am most accustomed to using a cognitive behavioral approach, however I will supplement with a variety of treatment interventions to meet your needs. Together we can explore what area of your life you would like to create change in, and how we can implement this change. Each session is catered towards the individual, to ensure that your therapeutic journey is both helpful and enjoyable. Therapy should be a comfortable environment where one can experience emotions and convey the challenges you are faced with.

I love what I do. My goal is to have you feel good about engaging in therapy, and empower you to become your best self.
