Dane Brooks, LPC
About me
Hi! My name is Dane Brooks, and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado.
I am passionate about providing counseling services to individuals of all backgrounds with various mental health concerns. I take pride creating a safe space for people to share their stories, while equipping them with therapeutic tools to learn and grow. I am hopeful that you will feel free to share your story with me, knowing that I am here to help, and not to judge.
I began my training at the University of Florida, which is one of the country's top counseling programs. Since then, I have gone on to put the knowledge I obtained into clinical practice. I have experience with crisis intervention, formulating diagnoses, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing in person and virtual therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. I have helped others in learning to cope with concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to symptoms stemming from traumatic experiences.
I am culturally sensitive and trauma informed. I use empirically informed interventions that come from a person-centered cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approach.
I strive to form strong and meaningful connections with those that I serve. I look forward to getting to know you, and help you in any way that I can to reach your therapeutic goals!
