About me

Thank you for checking out my profile, and congratulations on taking the next step improving your quality of life! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri. I completed by BSW at Missouri Western State University in 2013, my MSW from Park University in 2015, and my clinical supervision in 2020. In my time as a social worker I have worked in foster care, domestic violence, and outpatient mental health. I previously worked as an outpatient therapist 8-5 Monday through Friday, but I noticed something- so do a lot of other people. By providing services through BetterHelp, I can help those who have been left out of traditional therapy due to the struggle of scheduling therapy during work hours. This also applies to those of you who are parents- I am a single mom to two amazing kids... so I know about the work/ parent/ self-care balance. I also spend a lot of time reading, and have probably cried/ laughed/ loved some of your favorite characters and authors, so lets chat about it. Sometimes the way art imitates life can be a great path towards healing.

My passion is teaming with individuals to help them identify triggers that are negatively impacting their quality of life, and then identifying and developing skills for managing those triggers. Whether it is trauma, behavioral, or mental health, I believe therapy is a great tool to help bridge the gap between where life is now and where you would like to see life go. I have experience with CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, all which showcase themselves in my warm, strengths based approach. I believe therapy is a partnership, and that success is best found when both of us are committed to the goals you identify for yourself! Thank you for considering me as your partner in this journey.

Finding the right therapist can be intimidating, but working with Danielle has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

She has a way of making you feel comfortable almost immediately. Every session feels like sitting down with a friend you’ve known for years—someone who genuinely listens, cares, and creates a space where you can be completely yourself. Her calm, reassuring presence makes it easy to talk about even the difficult things.

What I appreciate most is her ability to see beyond the immediate situation. When I’m stuck in the emotions or details of something, Danielle helps me step back and look at the bigger picture. She offers insight and perspective in a way that feels supportive rather than directive, helping me arrive at my own understanding while still feeling guided.

I’ve never felt judged, rushed, or dismissed. Instead, I’ve felt heard, challenged when I needed to be, and supported through some significant life transitions. I leave our sessions with greater clarity, a better understanding of myself, and practical tools to move forward.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support Danielle has provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who is compassionate, insightful, and genuinely invested in helping people grow.

Listens and understands, while also giving good advice. Wonderful.

Although I’m seeking extra support, Danielle has been a rock and pillar in my road to recovery or at least a sense of normalcy, and has given me accommodation for setbacks, any time when I’ve been disappointed in myself or otherwise. I appreciate everything she says and does and hope that more people are being helped by therapists like her. If ever I need to speak with her she’s readily available at almost any time, and puts in the effort to make sure I know I’m doing better little by little.

Danielle is amazing! She listens, has great ideas for everything! She makes me laugh even when im having a rough week. She treats me like a human being and not just a patient. I always feel comfortable and safe chatting with her. I would recommend her to anyone!

Danielle is so warm and personable. She isn't shy about asking soul-searching questions. She has offered many practical suggestions about dealing with my ADHD, disordered eating, body image, and anxiety, all while taking into consideration my circumstances and life experiences. I would highly recommend Danielle.

Danielle is a delight to work with. She listens and leaves space for you to talk and think out loud. And if there is not a lot to discuss, it is nice to be able to talk about books and audiobook narrators. She asks the hard questions, but also knows when to just leave space.
