About Me

"It's a good day to have a good day". This quote hangs in my office and serves as a reminder that you can take control of your day and how it is perceived. Today is a new beginning and an opportunity for change. Therapy isn't about being told what to do and using a "one size fits all" approach to happiness. It's about guiding you to discover what you need and working together to meet your goals.
I am a mental health counselor with several years of experience in treating a variety of mental health diagnoses. I have worked in a variety of settings, including home-based mental health, community mental health, and private practice. I currently work in private practice with children, adults, couples, and families. I am extensively trained in trauma work and cognitive-behavioral therapy. My approach to counseling is patient-driven and I'm here to guide you along your journey as you start reaching your therapy goals.

Danielle is amazing! She is able to understand what I'm going through then effectively explain what's happening and how to cope. Highly recommended!

I have only been working with Danielle a short time, but her help has been invaluable to me as I have been through one of the most difficult times and transitions of my life. As a trauma survivor who struggles at times to make sense of life, Danielle has been a beacon of light, hope and encouragement. I have found the online platform to be, surprisingly, a very workable avenue for receiving professional support. Danielle has a true gift for compassionate listening and offers wonderful support and suggestions for moving through painful life situations.

Danielle has been my therapist for a few months now, and she’s the first therapist that I’ve had who actively listened me and didn’t just ask how I felt. As someone who has had multiple traumas, she has been able to delicately work me through each of them, acknowledge what I’ve been through and has given me a lot of words of encouragement. She’s also quick to respond even on late nights or weekends. I definitely recommend her.
