Darren Hassell, LCSW
About me
With a PhD in psychology, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been a psycho therapist for over 20 years. I primarily work with individuals and couples with a focus on brief solution oriented approaches to problems, circumstances, and family dynamics. I was an adjunct professor teaching graduate courses in family therapy for 11 years.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. My Master of Social work in 1995, and my PhD in General Psychology in 2008.
I approach counseling with a eclectic approach, meaning I find that not one size fits all. I taylor treatment to the individual or couple. I use realistic approaches and promote a supportive environment that allows others to feel safe and secure about the therapeutic process.
I feel honored to have people share their life experiences and struggles, and get to know them on a more insightful and therapeutic way. I work to show reverence and respect to those who seek out counseling.
