About me
I am behavioral scientist and a clinical practitioner. I am licensed and board certified for clinical practice, supervision, and healthcare leadership in the state of Texas. I have written and published articles in journals, books, and monographs. I have served on hospital staff and the faculty at the collegiate level. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Lamar University. I have completed graduate degrees from Texas Southern University and the University of Texas-Houston. I was the recipient of an executive education award and post- doctoral fellowships at Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the National Institutes of Health.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage. I am here to support you in that process.
