David has been very supportive and has helped me immensely in trying to cope with rather complicated family issues. His insights, practical advice and tool suggestions have made a difference to my mental state.

I was impressed how quickly David seemed to have an understanding of me and how to work effectively with me. High praise for being open to receiving feedback and adjusting how we work together after just the first session. David provides helpful insight and has been a good match for what my current needs are.

I think David would work well for someone who likes therapists with a laidback personality, asks direct questions, doesn't tell you what to do or how and asks you to reflect on things during the session, offers observations, and can explain what he observes.

David is encouraging and gives honest opinions and feedback. He offers additional exercises and allows you to be self-directed in those (doesn't nanny you about doing them). From my perspective, he tends to think and speak at a fast pace which means you can cover a lot if you come with your thoughts organized.
