I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana with 23 years of professional counseling experience in practice practice. I have experience in helping clients who are experiencing stress overload, anxiety, relationship issues, depressed mood, grief and loss, and parenting concerns. I also have experience working with those in need of anger management skills. I work with my clients to create an open, enjoyable and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Generally, I see counseling and therapy as a process in which you, the client, and I, the counselor, having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to identify, define and explore problem situations you may be experiencing. We then develop goals and practical steps to help you improve your overall life and well-being. The better you can share with me accurate and honest information the better your counseling outcomes will be. You will get the most out of our therapy sessions together if you bring with you an open mind and a sincere desire to change and grow.
