My name is David Rice and I want to first say that because you are here you are already on the path to healing. My profession as a therapist is one that I take very seriously because I know that people are valuable, their lives are precious, and joy and contentment should be in each and every one of us.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor located in Idaho. I have twenty years experience providing clinical support to a diverse population over that amount of time. In 2001 I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Adams State University, Alamosa, Colorado. I am also a National Certified Counselor. I have worked with all age groups and have experience working with a wide range of presenting issues including relationship conflicts, self image, grief and loss, trauma, motivation and anxiety.
I would describe my approach as client-centered and solution-focused. I provide a compassionate, empathetic style, while also empowering and challenging clients to be their best selves. I use an integrated approach with clients, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution focused therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior therapy. I encourage clients to set realistic goals and objectives throughout the therapy process and I am committed to joining, supporting, and encouraging my clients in that process.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for David Rice. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dr. Rice has been very uplifting and helpful in every issue I’ve brought to him. I had concern at the beginning because i thought my problems were too much for just one person to handle. However, he has and has surprised every aspect of my concerns. I would highly recommend him.
Great listener and makes you feel good and gives good advice
I really enjoyed my time with David. I thought he was very professional and insightful.
David is great and has been very helpful to my personal life.
Dave is reasonable voice to balance whatever you may be struggling with. I myself am very introspective, but therapy offers a mixture of reasoning. BetterHelp itself is a much needed resource for how people live today. So glad I found it. Please give it a chance.
David listens and understands the situation that I have been presented with and he offers sound advice to help me deal with what I am going through.
David is a good guy and was able to help me figure out ways to help myself be a better person. he definitely cares about each of his clients. even the ones that move on to different therapists. thank you.
I had an incredibly positive experience and I am glad I got to work with Mr. Rice. With his support I was able to gain clarity about my situation and the confidence to improve it. He was able to identify what kind of support and how much I needed and provide it through our video sessions and kind follow-up messages.
Intuitive, caring and knowledgeable.
David completely understands my situation and has given me great supportive advice. I always feel very positive after speaking with him and he understands I have to take my forward pathway slowly.
