I am in my 6th year as a Licensed Professional Counselor, this is who I am, not what I do. Doing what I love is effortless and natural to me so our time together may also feel natural and easy. Most of my professional experience has centered around fear-based struggles: stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, transitions, relationships, past experiences... I use these terms that are common however they feel like boxes; my finding is that everyone comes into these spaces differently, experiences them differently and moves out of them differently.
Counseling is an art form; I am here to assist you with identifying and then creating the picture you want for your life. The canvas for this is a Person-Centered approach. The originator of this philosophy, Carl Rogers, said this is often all that is needed to facilitate change. I have a variety of other tools for us that may prove useful; DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Breathwork, Yoga, Transactional Analysis, Hypnotherapy, Existential Therapy, Trauma Therapy and REBT are the most common. They are all amazing in their own way.
Additional areas of focus: LGBT, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Sleeping disorders, Parenting issues, Anger management, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Depression, ADHD, Antisocial Personality, Attachment Issues, Co-morbidity, Codependency, Communication Problems, Control Issues, Divorce and Separation, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Family of Origin Issues, Family Problems, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Impulsivity, Isolation/Loneliness, Life Purpose, Men's Issues, Midlife Crisis, Money and Financial Issues, Mood Disorders, Narcissism, Obsessions, Compulsions, and OCD, Panic Disorder and Panic Attacks, Personality Disorders, Phobias, Post-traumatic Stress, Process addiction (porn, exercise, gambling), Self-Harm, Self-Love, Sexual Assault and Abuse, Smoking/Vaping Cessation, Social Anxiety and Phobia, Workplace Issues, Young Adult Issues

David was able to help me resolve negative self-worth issues that have been plaguing me for over 35 years. Working with David I've also been able to improve my relationship with my daughters and my wife. I am deeply grateful for David's guidance and support. I felt seen and heard. I highly recommend working with David.

I enjoyed working with David, he had a way of being able to see through the mess and muddle that exists in our mind and making things seem more simple, straightforward and resolvable. I am a counsellor myself, so I know he's pretty good!

David has been very gentle with me. He understands the pain and I feel I can confide in him.
My only problem is hes in America and Im in England so our time zones are a bit different. Regardless, that hasnt stopped him from providing me with routes to help me.
