These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Debbie McCown-Perkins. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Debbie listens patiently and in a non-judgemental way. She gently offers opinions (which I appreciate) and asks pertinent questions to guide self reflection, which is key to uncovering motivations. I'm enjoying our sessions.
I really felt comfortable with Debbie and even though I've had alot of Big changes in my life over the last 2 years, she helped me understand that my biggest problem that I have is that I am a passive personality.Deb gave me homework that helped me see different ways to express what my needs and desires are without being a pushover for everyone to walk over.
Debbie is knowledgeable and friendly.
I did not participate in any therapy sessions. I actually didn’t even show up to our scheduled appointment. And she continued to reach out to me to make sure that I was OK. I really really appreciated her efforts because I had Covid and it is nice to know that she cared enough to check on me.
Debbie is patient and kind, she helps me navigate my feelings and emotions. Debbie has helped me through some things that I would have not been able to do alone.
Debbie is phenomenal. She is caring, kind, knowledgeable, supportive and nonjudgmental. She approaches everything from an open point of view and considers all aspects. She has helped me through some big things this year, and continues to support me every step of the way. I am so very grateful for her.
Debbie always listens and provides good advice without judgment.
Debbie is wise, sweet, understanding, and encouraging whilst also being realistic and professional. She helps to ground me when I’m anxious or need validation. She helped me overcome an extremely hard obstacle. I would highly recommend her!
I am in my second week and I have found it to be very helpful and comforting to have a safe place to talk about my mental health. Debbie made me feel at ease right away.
Debbie is skilled in her profession, but she also possesses qualities I've felt so many other therapists lack. Kind, gentle, empathetic, sympathetic, understanding, relatable. I would recommend anyone to Debbie. Especially if you're over sensitive and emotional, like I am =D
Better help is an amazingly simple way to find a counselor. It’s like finding a new best friend that has her degree! This is convenient, professional, help in the palm of you hand!
Debbie is super nice and I really like talking to her!
Debbie is awesome! She is personal, inquisitive and realistic when it comes to everything we talk about.
Debbie has been a wonderful counselor. She is kind and caring, and has replied to me in a timely manner every time. She is attentive during our sessions and has addressed my main concerns. I would recommend her to anybody.
She is very friendly and gives me constructive guidance and aids me to the best of her ability though there is a cultural difference.
She is kind and interactive. I feel listened to.
Debbie was supportive, understanding and non-judgmental and offered realistic solutions to issues that could be sustained and developed. She was always prompt in replying or scheduling sessions, and always on time for our chats. Talking to her felt natural and she has a way of putting you at ease and letting you talk without asking leading questions. She helped me put down goals and have realistic expectations from my interactions. Thanks!
Debbie is attentive and a good listener. She helps me see understand why I feel the way that I do and suggests ways that I can deal with triggers of anxiety and stress. She is very understanding and supportive and helps me keep my life on track to feel better and gives me strategies that I can manage stressful events in my life. I couldn’t recommend her enough.
I’ve never felt so at ease to talk about fragile subjects with someone so quickly. We’ve had internet and video troubles but that’s not made me panic. She handles those situations well. We talk across different time zones easily. She’s gentle.
