Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Debbie Walker. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in state of Georgia. I have 22 plus years of experience as a therapist and 20 years as a certified job and career transition coach (JCTC). I have worked with a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, relationships issues, substance abuse, career challenges, and intimate partner violence.
I use an integrative therapy approach to treatment which allows me to use different techniques from different therapeutic orientation such as solution-focused brief therapy, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems. As an integrative therapist, I am able to adapt my counseling orientation and techniques to meet the needs and goals each of my clients.
