I am a practitioner who has grown personally and professionally by selecting, using and sharing the most useful approaches for resilience and recovery from wounds, conflict, and secrets to move toward mindful insight, patience, discernment, alertness and open awareness.
I honor the diverse expressions of all sentient beings. Psychotherapy involves mindful insight and action.
Each client's reality is gradually shared as wants, needs and feelings are expressed. No one is lost as everyone has a now. Attitudes of curiosity and humility bring the most awareness of movement from judgement to empathy to self compassion.
I offer 30-45 minute afternoon sessions for adults ages 21 and older. Honing the scope of clientele's age span allows for specialization in adult life stage concerns and by understanding that time is actually non-linear.
Necessary limitations to my psychotherapy practice are: couples and/or family counseling; domestic violence situations; eating disorders; substance abuse treatment; process addictions; custody battles; any other lawsuit and court related concerns; acute a/o severe mental illness that would preclude rational processing; and disability, FMLA, fitness for duty or related issues.
Please also note that crisis intervention within this virtual platform is not appropriate and clients will be referred to their local crisis services.
If you are comfortable with my approach, please consider scheduling an initial assessment so we each can assess if we work well as a team.
Additional areas of focus: Grief, Self esteem, Career difficulties, Compassion fatigue, Aging and Geriatric Issues, Attachment Issues, Blended Family Issues, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Communication Problems, Expats, Fatherhood Issues, First Responder Issues, Gender Dysphoria, Hospice and End of Life Counseling, Immigration Issues, Isolation / Loneliness, Midlife Crisis, Military and Veterans Issues, Multicultural Concerns, Workplace Issues, Young Adult Issues

Best counselor I've had. Hands down. Deb is smart, open-minded, direct-to-the-point, sincere and empathetic. She listens well, and really tries to help you get to the root of your issues. Beyond her practical effectiveness, she's also able to explain things in a theoretical -- almost academic -- basis which works for me, and I'm sure for many others.
