Deborah Scott, LPCC, LMHC
About me
With a master’s in counseling psychology, I’ a national certified counselor with dual licensure as a mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist in Florida and New Mexico. I also hold certification with international reciprocity as a master’s level addictions therapist.
I bring 20+ years experience to our working relationship, ensuring each client receives individualized and ethical service to address stress and anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, & motivation, self esteem, personal boundaries, confidence, grief/loss, recovery and phase-of-life transitions.
My therapy approach is what’s known as “eclectic:” capitalizing on what works best for you from a range of evidence-based skill sets. Outcomes of our work together will include developing insight to allow for personal growth, putting strategies and tools into place that you can use immediately to make desired changes in your life. You and I will define your outcomes and how we’ll get there, so throughout our time together you’ll be able to measure how far you’ve come and know where we’re heading. And if you just need a “place” to be heard, I’m here with you and for you.
