About Me

I have been a therapist for over 17 years, and have had the privilege to serve a very wide demographic of individuals and groups as an owner of a private practice as well as executive coach. While an owner of a private practice, I trained in many areas of specialty, so I could provide the best quality therapy for anyone that was introduced to our clinic, and especially those that my associate therapists were not trained to serve and help. My areas of specialties include PTSD, Sexual Abuse Recovery, Depression, Anxiety, Couples Therapy and Relationship Issues, Grief and Loss, Sexual Issues and Dysfunction, Addiction Issues, Personality and Mood Disorders, Self-harm and Eating Disorders, Spiritual Issues, Addiction, Mediation, Career Counseling and Life Coaching.
I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and consider it a privilege to walk alongside someone through sometimes the most difficult time in their life. It is an honor to be trusted to encourage and provide tools to help people transform their lives. Both reactive therapy (helping people recover and thrive in life) and proactive coaching (helping people achieve their goals) are enjoyable for me, so no matter what your goals are, if you feel I am a fit for you, I will do my best to help you achieve those goals as quickly as possible. I work from a brief therapy model, but will extend the treatment plan as agreed and needed if other issues present.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you move forward from a place of feeling "stuck" to achieving wellness. Let's get started!

Really great counselor! She’s there to listen and help, and I’ve been using the techniques that she’s suggested to calm down my anxiety. Would definitely recommend her.

Debra Arseneaux is very helpful and supportive, and very good at giving new or different perspectives on looking at things. She’s genuinely loving and concerned, and empathetic. That either comes natural or you’re gifted with it, or it takes years of experience to imitate those feelings properly.. and if it doesn’t come naturally, it’ll make you exhausted. She never seems exhausted.

Debra has leveled me out! My moods tend to vary and if I disagree with someone it can either really bring me down, or I can flip out on them. Since her she’s taught me to see their side and just disagree gracefully. I haven’t screamed at my boyfriend since starting better help and I’m so happy we can finally communicate better!

I appreciate you helping me diagnose my OCD and compulsive behaviour but I'm hoping for more ways to improve my behaviour and thoughts. I understand it’s only been a couple of weeks but I’m really hoping that I’m able to change the way my mind works.
