Hi! My name is Debbie Bichachi, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. I earned my B.A. from Brandeis University in Sociology and Psychology and my M.S.W. from Columbia University in Advanced Clinical Social Work. My specialty is in treating individuals with depression and anxiety disorders including OCD, phobias, panic, generalized anxiety and social anxiety. I am a Behavioral Treatment Therapy Institute (BTTI) graduate and I am clinically trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate mindfulness exercises into my practice.
My approach is goal-oriented, strength-based, warm and engaging. I strive to create an open, non-judgmental space for you to share your daily thoughts, fears, hopes and goals. As a team, we will create specific and gradual goals leading towards your long-term goals. We can use journaling and questionnaires to help create these goals and we can then navigate each one at a comfortable pace. By noticing the interplay of your thoughts and behaviors and emotions, and choosing a desired direction, we will be able to work towards your long-term goals.
Ultimately, we are striving to not simply treat a problem, but to improve the overall quality and satisfaction of your life. I look forward to speaking with you.

Debra has helped me deepen my understanding of myself and break down any issues at hand to come back to the present moment. I am so grateful to be paired with an amazing therapist!
Words cannot express how much of a help Debra is to me in all matters of my life. I am a changed person because of the things she has taught me. I absolutely love doing my therapy with her.
In just the couple of sessions that I have been with Dr Bichachi I am so lucky. After only 1 session she still took teh time to call and make surer iwas ok with my wife when my dad passed away. The second session went well and I love that she asks me questions that I normally would not think of.
Debra listens to in-depth, validates me, and supports me. She never fails to make me feel truly heard. She has such a warm spirit that feels like home. She makes things very comfortable and allows you to take your time. Seriously, I had a good feeling on our VERY first session.
She's awesome, she listens to me gives me good advice and she's such a sweet person
Debra has been so kind and caring. She listens intently to what you have to say. She had definitely helped me learning some coping mechanisms to deal with my anger.
Debra is the best therapist I've ever had, and I've had plenty! She is a great listener and always provides me with great feedback and insight. After every session I feel supercharged and ready to conquer the week. I've seen my life steadily improve with each passing week, using the tools she has given me. I greatly appreciate what she has done for me!
I adore my counselor. Truly. She has helped me tremendously and I feel like a better person with her in my life.
Supportive but challenging when needed, Debra doesn’t lead but guides and is super knowledgeable. A great therapist.
Debra is wonderful! She helps me overcome several concerns in my life and offers great support and tools!
Debra has really helped me to get focused on my mental health to get out of a slump a couple months ago. After her counseling, I feel more capable to handle my stressors and triggers.
Debra is very organized amd detail oriented. She is very fast to respond to any questions or comments or concerns. I would recommend her if you are looking for help in organizing your thoughts and life.
