About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah, with 3 years of experience. I have experience working with teens and adults and parent-child relationships. Some struggles that I have helped work through are depression, anxiety, addictions (pornography, sex, and substance abuse), mental illnesses (bipolar, depression, schizophrenia, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and many many others. I have also worked through family of origin challenges and trauma and adoption/foster care early childhood traumas.

I believe you have the power, within you, to heal and overcome your challenges, but sometimes you need help to find it.

I use several different modalities in my therapy practice, but my favorite ones are EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). EMDR is an effective life long lasting treatment to help through any of life challenges. It is drastically different from talk therapy, where you don’t need to explain the situation or talk through it, as in other modalities.

I hope to work with you, alongside you, through your current, past, or future concerns.

I feel like I’m talking to a friend and not a therapist, we laugh and have a good time along with getting to the roots of my issues.
