I hope as you read my profile, you will know that if you decide to work with me, I will give you my respect, encouragement, and share my knowledge with you. Our sessions will be focused on finding solutions to your issues, whatever they might be. I am an independent licensed mental health counselor, and have worked in the field for over twenty years. During that time, I have worked with individuals, couples that are together, and couples that are separated. I have worked with families coping with addiction, and many individuals coping with mental health issues such as: depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, OCD, ADHD, to mention a few. Sometimes problems were precipitated by life changes such as : loss of loved one, health , financial issues, and work and family conflicts. My approach is client-centered which was Carl Rogers' approach, simply "make friends". I want my clients to feel emotionally safe and know that we are in this recovery together. We assess the problem and make the treatment plan together. I also use Reality Therapy which helps them assume responsibility for their choices and actions and as they learn this, make better decisions going forward. CBT and RET are two more modalities that I find useful. All these are helpful tools for clients, but I find it's important to teach clients the art of forgiveness for others and themselves, "acceptance ". Add a dose of humor now and then, and life feels much lighter and worth living!! Clients actually look forward to their sessions. I hope you'll consider coming in to work together. These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Delores "Dee" Willits-Rahrs. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I'm enjoying working with Dee. I feel supported and as if I have a cheerleader on my side.
Kind, caring, compassionate!
I really appreciate Dee. She supports me
She is absolutely amazing she will make you feel like your the only person in the world that she is worried about while in your meeting absolutely love her she changed my life
Dee Rahrs has listening ears of gold which means she is a great listener. She also shairs insight from her own wealth of experiences . She is fun, kind and very good at reflecting what actions what her clients take toward their growth. I find that to be very important as I self reflect on what I am doing and take responsibility for the results my actions have as I move forward.
I have been seeing Dee for awhile and she’s created a space where I’m excited to step into counseling with her weekly. She’s seasoned and gives her whole heart into you which is helpful when it comes to sharing and being vulnerable.

Dee Rahrs is a lovely woman with tons of professional and life experience. She is kind hearted and intelligent. If you need somebody to listen to you and care about what is going on in your life look no further. Dee also has a lot of professional experience with substance abuse from both the users perspective and family and friends suffering.
Dee is the absolute best. She is always able to help me breakdown the route of the problems and her humor makes me feel super comfortable. I hear that people normally need to try a couple therapists but she was my first and last. I look forward to talking with her every day.
She is so wonderful!! I was very hesitant to start therapy for the first time. A lot of people told me it's rare to find a therapist that works for you on the first try, and I would most likely have to switch therapists multiple times until I found the right one, Which only added to my anxiety. Luckily, that was not the case. Dee and I clicked right away and I genuinely do not know how I would have got through my hard times without her. She has a great sense of humor which made me feel comfortable with her right away, and is so patient and understanding. I actually get excited about our sessions and can't wait to tell her about my week. I wouldn't want anyone else helping me!
Phenomenal therapist. Helping me tremendously. I suggest to everyone that needs help
