About me

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and licensed clinical addiction specialist based out of North Carolina. I have been in practice for approximately 10 years working with a wide array of mental health and substance use concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, compulsions, relationship issues, and drug and alcohol abuse and/or addiction. I really thrive working with women and women's issues including trauma work and women who have survived domestic violence or any form of abuse.

My therapy style is warm and approachable. I like to think that people can approach me and feel comfortable talking to me about things they may not feel comfortable talking to others about. It is not my place to judge, but maybe look at life or situations from all perspectives to find the best solutions for problems. Sometimes, there is no problem that needs to be solved - simply talking out a situation to feel better about the circumstances we have been dealt.

It takes a lot of courage to seek help - you are not alone and I encourage people to put themselves first in order to live a healthy, meaningful life. I look forward to helping you achieve any goals that you may have.
