Hello! I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Minnesota and North Dakota. I have been working in counseling for seven years and have been working in the field of mental health and substance use for over 10 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, and addiction. I have many experiences in helping those who struggle with mental health and addiction concerns. I also helped people on their healing journey that have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.
My therapeutic style is warm and engaging. My approach is always person-centered and individualized to your specific and unique needs. Some approaches I use combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic principles and mindfulness practices. For healing from trauma, I like to focus on somatic techniques and becoming comfortable with our body and mind again.

Deirdre is a great listener and doesn’t make me feel stupid for just venting when I need it. She offers a lot of great insight and educational material for me to read (because I enjoy that). She’s on time with appointments and responds quickly to messages. I really enjoy our sessions together!
