My approach is warm, down-to-earth and full of common sense. In a counseling relationship with me, I hope you will: 1) become more aware of what is going on inside you, 2) be able to accept the reality of that, and 3) discover ways of changing your thoughts, actions and beliefs to be more healthy and productive.
I draw from the constructs of trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical-behavioral therapies in my work.
