Devin Barth, LMHC, LMHP
I am currently licensed as an LMHC in the state of Iowa and as an LMHP in the state of Nebraska. For the last 5 years, I have been serving clients ranging in age from 3 to 80, with primary focus on individuals aged 13-40. I look to offer a therapeutic approach that is inclusive, non-judgmental, and welcoming. I do this through use of various techniques in an eclectic approach using CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, CPT, Mindfulness, & EFT skills, that seek to meet a client where they are with their individual concerns. I have previous experience with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families ,and treatment experience with depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, Body Dysmorphia, LGBTQ+ concerns, perfectionism, HSPs, PTSD, & grief or loss. I have also recently become EMDR trained & am in the process of becoming EMDR certified.
I believe everyone comes to therapy for various reasons, but with the same goal in mind: to find peace, balance, acceptance, or healing. As a therapist, I believe it is my job to work together with clients to find their individual path to that goal, by sharing in their struggles and celebrating in their successes.
I have found that making that first appointment is often one of the areas a client will feel the most anxious, so I congratulate you in taking that step! I hope that together we can meet your goals and work toward creating a meaningful and valuable experience that aids you in your life's purpose.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Devin has been a huge support in my life since I started working with her. Although circumstances in her life have kept her from being consistently available for sessions, this is something she communicated to me months in advance before we started working together, and she was very communicative throughout and provided me with ample support and communication at all times to ensure that I had access to the level of care that I needed. Devin's insight and support over the months that I was working with her was immensely helpful, and exactly what I needed to really help me turn my life around completely. When I began working with her I was experiencing crisis -level struggles with my mental health. Over these months she was able to give me insight and ask me questions to help me find the confidence and independence I needed to make the necessary changes in my life. At this point I am happy to say I'm very very content with the state of things in my life and fully confident in my ability to take anything life may throw my way in stride. Devin always gave me a wonderful balance of kindness, pragmatism and encouragement. Her willingness to provide treatment over a variety of means- video, phone and chat sessions, and even occasional check-ins over messages- allowed me to have the therapeutic support I needed no matter what my schedule or energy levels looked like. I've had many therapists over the years and while I was a bit hesitant to think that online therapy could give me the support I needed, Devin completely exceeded all my expectations. She is definitely one of the best therapists I've had. She maintains professionalism and clinically solid methods of treatment, while doing so in a way that feels fully personalized and wonderfully human. I would absolutely recommend Devin to anyone who is struggling and in need of kind, flexible therapeutic support. She is incredibly competent and empathetic and very very skilled at what she does!!!

She is incredible! It's like she is in my head the way she is able to diagnose and help me with what is going on in my life. Im not sure how appropriate the term psychoanalysis is in this line of work but she very much puts words to the emotions Im feeling and gives me tools to deal with those feelings. Very personable and easy to talk to. She is incredibly good at her job.
