About Me

Today you are one step closer to a new YOU where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a mental health professional, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By educating you in and applying approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

I am an open-minded and non-judgmental individual with 25 years of counseling experience as a mental health professional. I have experience with individuals, couples, and children. I am client-driven; you decide what you want to work on. I often ask the individual to seek information as homework to help with learning during the in-between sessions. I have experience with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues (work/family or love) PTSD, Trauma, career decisions, ADHD, Addictions, Family Violence, and Parenting. I am trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Imago Relationship Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

DiAna Escamilla has been very helpful. This last session she helped me understand how and why I had a reaction. To something that was happening with my boyfriend made my stomach get tight - because I felt unheard like when I was a child. I’m enjoying our talks. It feels great to get things out where I can see them.
