About me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Diana Mc Carley and I am licensed as an LMHC in Florida with 15 years experience as a counselor. In the past, I've worked in private practice, Hospice, local and government agencies, and in the University setting the help young adults, individuals, and families. I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and trauma/abuse recovery. I have also enjoyed working with individuals facing the challenges of chronic illnesses, cancer and those facing end-of-life issues.

My counseling style is interactive and compassionate. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in labels. You are not your diagnosis! My counseling approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques. Together, we will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe I have a calling to help people work through difficult situations.

It takes determination and courage to change your life to one that is more fulfilling and happier. If you are ready to take the first step in changing your life for the better, I am here to support, encourage, and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Diana is always supportive and free of judgment. She listens, hears and guides in a calm, respectful, empathetic way. I have been meeting with her for almost two years now and, although I’m in a great place now, I plan on continuing leaning on her guidance and support for as long as I can.
