About me
Diana is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of New Mexico – Diana has her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling . Diana was the 2019 Behavioral Health Provider of the Year for the New Mexico Primary Care Association. In the last 13 years she worked in many different settings from inpatient, rural health, intensive outpatient, international boarding school, and small clinical setting. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and other life experiences. She believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through her work, she strives to create a safe space where clients can learn to cope and manage everyday life experiences as well as process any past experiences that may be affecting ones life. She utilizes various therapeutic approaches including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness.
