Domonic Loone
About me
I’m a qualified counsellor, with over three years of clinical experience working in both agency settings and private practice. I’ve worked with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life stages, including older people, younger adults, and neurodiverse clients. My areas of experience include anxiety, OCD, ADHD-related concerns, trauma, sexual abuse, low self-esteem, identity issues, and challenges around relationships and motivation.
My therapy style is warm, grounded, and non-judgmental. I work from a person-centred approach, meaning I place great emphasis on creating a safe, accepting space where you can explore what’s happening for you at your own pace. I also draw from training in clinical assessment, trauma-informed work, and safeguarding, always tailoring the process to suit your individual needs.
I’m a registered member of the BACP and an accredited member of the NCPS, and I adhere closely to the ethical frameworks of both organisations. Whether you’re looking for support around a specific issue or wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I’ll meet you with care and honesty — and we’ll go from there, together.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to support you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Domonic Loone. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dom is so patient and understanding, and always makes me feel listened to. I was so anxious about taking the first step into therapy, but Dom was so reassuring and took things at my own pace. Now it is no longer daunting, but a welcome chance to express myself where I feel safe and valued.

Very kind, compassionate, and understanding therapist. Offers valuable insights and is adept at challenging my negative thoughts/beliefs in a safe and non-threatening way.
