Within the therapeutic relationship, where warmth, genuineness, patience, and acceptance are prized above all, it is my pleasure to work with you in setting achievable goals, building a toolkit of coping techniques & strategies for you to use in the future, helping yourself to live the richer fuller life you deserve. I thrive on empowering my client's lifestyles and mental well-being. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage whatever is overwhelming you by changing the way you think and behave. I strongly believe; if you change your thinking, you will change your life.
Working alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, decisions, and behaviours in a confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive way.
I have experience with in-the-moment crisis counselling. I also work with clients presenting with a wide variety of mental health concerns. from phone/social media addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, body dysmorphia, and unhealthy relationships with food. I have extensive experience in supporting clients through life changes, for example, perimenopause & menopause, divorce, and separation.
If you are struggling it can be a relief to talk to someone who is trained to listen and understand, where you are heard, understood, and accepted.
Perhaps you are critical of yourself, I can help guide you to personal growth through self-compassion, to enable you to quiet your inner critic, to be as kind to yourself as you would be to others.

I just started therapy with Donna, but very quickly established rapport with her. Donna is very understanding, supportive, non-judgmental and gives very useful and practical advice on how to deal with issues. Highly recommended!

She is amazing, patient, passionate.
She finds time for all my problems no matter how silly
She respects my thoughts and opinions and has helped me unravel a lot of my issues myself

I am so glad that Better Help has matched me with Donna. Even after our first session, I felt lighter. I felt seen and heard. Donna radiates warmth and compassion and is genuinely interested in helping people. Even though I work in the similar field and I am the one helping others to open up, it has always been difficult for me to open up myself. With Donna, going to those painful places that we tend to avoid was so easy. She shined light on my strengths and unique qualities. She also provided me with many tools to find forgiveness in me, to overcome self-criticism and improve my self-esteem. Donna is a wonderful therapist and I would highly recommend her.
