Donna Vogeler-Boutin, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Nevada. I have been providing counseling services for over 25 years.
Counseling is an art as each individual, couple and/or family is unique and this requires creativity. I refer to myself as an eclectic therapist and like to meet the client where they are with empathy and compassion. I use "therapeutic-coaching" and draw from solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness (Dr. Dan Siegel), somatic healing and developmental trauma, (Dr. Aimie Apigian), effective communication (Dr. John Gottman), internal family systems (IFS) (Dr. Dick Schwartz), couples therapy, (Dr. Terry Real) (Dr. John Gottman), (Dr. Ellyn Bader, relational development) as well as attachment and family of origin issues (Dr. Diane Poole Heller).
I am certified as an Authentic Happiness Coach (Dr. Martin Seligam) and I am a Certified Grief Counselor ( David Kessler). I have completed one year at the Couples' Institute (Dr. Ellyn Bader) and take classes on an ongoing basis.
I consider it a honor to have served our military and their families for nearly 15 years.
I believe that individuals seeking help/answers are the most courageous individuals. I salute you for taking time for yourself and for being willing to be vulnerable in finding answers. It is in our vulnerability that we find our strength!
Looking forward to working with you!

She is considerate and offers me a perspective I did not realize was even an option. Her approach to therapy makes me think more about why I have the feelings I do and there is no judgement from her sessions and I feel I can be more of myself and work to be a better person for those around me.

Donna is the most empathetic therapist I’ve ever had. She offers many resources and is good staying in touch. She’s kind, thoughtful and listens respectfully. She is obviously experienced and has expertise with my issues. I would recommend her to anyone I know.
