My name is Dorian Carter, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been working in Social Services over the last 13 years. Over that time I have been serving families throughout Houston and surrounding areas. It has been both my pleasure and passion to serve and help people in different capacities. Every place I have served had 1 thing in common, and that's being there for people during their time of need.
My counseling experience includes work in evaluating suicidal clients, supporting clients challenged by anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurological differences. I have also worked with clients who have experienced religious/spiritual trauma.
Additionally, Christian counseling provides me with a unique perspective for those clients who wish to approach their issues and concerns through the lens of biblical teachings.
