I am licensed clinical social worker in Florida with 7 years of therapy experience and more than 15 years experience in the field. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, anger management, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. As a social worker, I approach my clients holistically and believe in your value and worth in the therapeutic relationship. I take a strengths based approach and utilize empowerment theory and cognitive behavioral therapy in my sessions. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I have been working with Dorothy for a few weeks now and I appreciate her approach to our sessions. I like using worksheets and spending time reflecting on my own in between sessions and Dorothy is great for those things.
