About me

Hello! I would be very happy to be your therapist here at Betterhelp. My name is Edward Vincent and am licensed by the state of Michigan as a clinical social worker. I have over 35 years of experience in psychotherapy. My guiding philosophy is to help you with your personal growth and healthy development by seeking to overcome any obstacles to this. My approach to therapy involves working at changing the thoughts, feelings and behavior that interfere with your healthy development and personal growth. To that end I am always honored and humbled to be called upon to work with someone on the difficulties in their life's journey. Therapy is not an easy endeavor. For that reason, I am committed to making it a safe and comfortable place for you to openly share about yourself and whatever is troubling you so that you can embark on this important work.

Edward is truly a godsend to me. He listens, he understands, and he challenges me to dive deep into reasons I do things and think about things. He’s truly helped me find myself again and continues to push me to work on myself daily.
