About Me
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Marriage Couples and Family Counseling, with an emphasis in Crisis and Trauma Counseling. My experience ranges with many different age groups, an I have worked with a diverse client base over the past 10 years. I started off working with Survivors of Sexual Trauma, Domestic Violence, and Human Trafficking. I have worked with children, adolescents, Teens, young adults, adults and the Elderly, providing Individual Therapy, Family Therapy and Couples Therapy, with some training in Group Therapy for adolescents and for adult women. I am currently adding in a focus of Perinatal Mental Health.
As I have continued in this field, I have educated myself as much as possible to be able to work with different cultures, races and minorities in order to better serve more populations of individuals who may not have been able to receive the help and the support they need. My Theoretical Foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however, I integrate other Theories and interventions in order to meet the individual needs of clients. These include Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Social Learning Theory and Gottman's Sound Relationship House Theory. I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am working towards getting trained in EMDR and REBT.
My approach is Client Centered, with my focus being on the Client and the Client's needs. I work with the Client to identify goals, and work together with the the client to achieve these goals. As a Therapist, I listen, I help identify challenges, process feelings, and help problem solve and then Client takes action to create change. This is not easy, and trusting this process can be difficult, and I never ask my clients to do anything that I would do myself. I am a trauma survivor and because of my experience, I chose to be therapist in order to help others, because it can be difficult to understand the feelings that accompany trauma unless you have lived through a traumatic event yourself. My hope is to create a safe space where Clients can seek help, feel listened to, feel respected, and hopefully find answers and learn new things to help them cope with the challenges that they have been facing.
I am flexible throughout the day with my work schedule which can change from day to day. I do not work on the weekends, and will not be able to answer any messages until Monday. Please let me know what works with your schedule and I will do my best to accommodate you. In some cases I may be able to book sessions the same week of enrollment. Not always and appointments may be a week out. I do have set times in the evenings and weekends for appointments that are consistent. I check my messages multiple times throughout the day, and will respond as quickly as my schedule allows. At times I am very busy and cannot answer right away. I will answer as soon as I can, generally within 24-48 hours. Please know that when I respond, it does not mean I am available for a back and forth chat in the portal. I am responding as quickly as I can between sessions and I am not able to answer each message immediately.
If you have an emergency please reach out to your local services for immediate assistance. As I am not able to respond to emergencies or immediate needs. I want to make sure you have the help you need right away.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Elaine Noland-Sepko. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I love Elaine Noland-Sepko. She is so kind. I had had issues for years with therapists taking my bubbly persona at its face value, even when things were very wrong. She has helped me open up, and start to heal in places I didn’t know were hurt. She’s helped me with my ADHD and anxiety, and has given me resources based on what i understand help.
Elaine is thoughtful and a good listener
Elaine has been very helpful to me to understand my situation and heal from it.
Elaine is probably the most relatable therapist I've had. I was instantly comfortable speaking with her! I've been in therapy for years and doubted there was anything left to learn. Elaine has taught me so much, and given me perspective that no one has before. She's curious, compassionate, kind and a pleasure to talk to. I look forward to our sessions every week!
Listens and understands me.
Elaine provide a space where is safe to talk without any judgement and can figure out what are true value is and how we want to proceed in life. When I first started with Elaine I wasn’t in a good space at all. But after a few session I started realizing that she provide tools that can make us very successful but its up to us on how we are going to use does tools. I even took a break because of financial issues and still came back after a couple of years because I know that she will provide me with the wisdom and vision that will keep me looking forward and thriving in my life.
Finding her is the best thing I’ve ever done! I have a completely different outlook on life and I believe she invests an immense amount of time and effort in my well being. She seems to see right through to the root of the problems I’m experiencing and she offers reasonable and achievable advice. I have loved every encounter and look forward to growing as a person with her help.
She's a great listener and will sometimes respond on her days off to messages sent to her. I enjoy and feel safe confining in her about my issues
Elaine has been very helpful letting me vent and help me with relationship issues. Very kind.
Elaine is thoughtful and understanding. She has a wealth of expertise and a genuine dedication to her clients. I feel extremely lucky to have been matched with her.
It felt good to let out all my stress onto someone and have them come up with solutions and just encourage me! Elaine was an amazing listener and responded to as much as i would let her since i would say i took over the call! thanks Elaine :)
Elaine listens and I feel she understands what I'm really saying and feeling. She's a great support network, and even just talking about my problems helps me communicate with my partner better. This month has helped my issues a lot.
Elaine has been very helpful and makes me feel so comfortable at going at my own pace! :)
Elaine is very attentive, helpful, and expert in her field. Personally I hate a lot of counselors. Many of them are broken themselves. This lady is tops. She listens and has good advice. Highly recommend!
So far, I have been satisfied with the counseling experience. I feel listened to and understood by Elaine which has been helping me to recognize what changes I need to make in my life.
I love my counselor, keep up the good work. Thank you!

Elaine is a great listener and provides well rounded feed back. She is prompt in responding back to messages and provides great worksheets to help you through what your currently experiencing. Elaine has helped me tremendously. Feeling hopeless, confused, anxious, and depressed, I signed up for BetterHelp. I was apprehensive about online counseling, feeling as though nothing could really help. Boy was I wrong! Elaine truly helped me get through one of the hardest times of my life and I’m truly grateful for her knowledge and guidance.
Elaine is very competent and professional in her field while still able to reflect a greater understanding on a personal level. I could not have asked for a better fit to my needs at my own convenience.
Elaine has given me several excellent ideas to help me cope. She listens to my concerns and provides practical, realistic advice.
I have really appreciated Elaine and have raved about her and BetterHelp to a few of my friends who are also going through some things. I am very comfortable with her and feel like she understands what I'm going through.
She amazing and good person to vent to. Worth your time.
