Very understanding and works to heal the root causes to heal rather than doing a cover up job. Very effective

We are just resuming after a break of a few months -- which I asked for. Today's session was very good. Elizabeth listened to my recap of the events of the past while, and offered some excellent suggestions that zeroed in on something important for me to keep in mind going forward.

Elizabeth is an excellent therapist and I've had many. She listens to me, more importantly she hears me when I feel like no one else does. She understands my situation with treatment resistant depression and how difficult it is to get good care in terms of medication treatments for it. It is an always ongoing struggle for me and Elizabeth helps me navigate living with TRD.

Elizabeth is lovely to talk to, even when I'm in a rambling they can pick it out key questions that help me isolate my feelings. Elizabeth makes me feel really hurt and understood and provides me with resources to process our conversations outside of our sessions. It's taking me a long time to find a counselor who gets it and it feels like Elizabeth really does.

She is wonderful. I don't know how we got lucky enough that we found her on our first try. We had her for marriage counseling, and then wanted to switch to individual counseling, but my husband hasn't been able to find anyone he likes and he's tried maybe 4 different people. She's just so great at listening, and suggesting good reading material and strategies. We're going to switch back to marriage counseling at the end of this month.
